The sole surviving entity in an industrial, post-apocalyptic planet of Duniya. Travelling the now populace barren landscapes and gargantuan ruins of cities long gone, Neve trudges on aboard her trusty hoverpod in search of signs of life on the planet. Her memories are limited. She was a survivor of a small community of human colonists that went to war with the planet's natives over scarce food supplies, with Neve escaping just as the community that she knew got wiped out. She endured this kind of life for years without losing hope and her innocence; even as she becomes more badly damaged and seeing no sign of anyone but herself in the entire planet; with only the hope that one day she would meet someone powering her though to continue her task. For decades she was kept company by music played from her vehicle's radio, and kept sane by collecting trinkets that catch her fancy. One fateful day, just as Neve's hopeful spirit began to crack, she meets someone alive arrive from the sky aboard a ship - a traveler from another planet named Sofia Sinclair. 

Realizing how desperate she was for companionship, Neve was immediately affectionate towards Sofia just by virtue of her existing. Sofia's mission was to scrounge up supplies for her craft's repair so she can get home. Searching for clues with Neve following her, Sofia finds that the world was a former Regency-affiliated planet that's been erased from the records by the Regency itself. A human expedition was sent to this planet a long time ago and made contact with it's alien natives, but the planet was attacked by a self-replicating nanite swarm that killed both organic factions. The Terran Protectorate didn't have the manpower to handle it at the time, so they sacrificed the colony and left the survivors to fend for themselves alongside the planet's native people of giant humanoids. Together, both factions eventually won and drove the nanite swarm away at great cost and survived after the war, with the humans feeling betrayed by their kin and cutting their ties to the Protectorate fully. But tensions grew not long after as humans took up a lot of the resources of the planet, causing another war between the two species that fully ended life on the planet.

Sofia deduced that Neve was activated at the end of the war, when almost everyone has already died and population was simply too low to repopulate. She found out that Neve is an Accelon - a type of android made by the Regency's Project Heritage, fused with technology made by the local species of the planet. Neve have been roaming this planet for years with a hopeless mission. Feeling sympathy for the android, Sofia asked to have her along back to the Terran homeworld. Only Neve refused and chose to stay in Duniya, for this was her home. Sofia reluctantly agreed to let Neve stay, with the promise of Sofia returning to bring help to the planet. Sofia helps Neve by giving her a clue on where she can find find lifeforms in the planet, leading Neve to a garden of flowers that bloomed after the apocalypse, showing that Duniya is on the mend to once again be hospitable for life. Satisfied that her mission was a success, Neve lied down on the patch of flowers and finally rested...

She reawakens a week later, seeing Sofi having return to the garden. A new Terran colony ship arrives at Duniya to pick up Neve and to reclaim the planet. With her mission accomplished, Neve was finally able to move on from Duniya and live a new life in humanity's new capital of Midgard.

Being an Accelon, Neve is made to resemble a beautiful adult woman, especially since her programming had her be a singer and dancer. But with decades of being alone, Neve wasn't able to maintain her robotic body to perform at it's optimal capacity. Her optics became sensitive to bright lights and she needed to rest and recharge often. Her speech and vocal chords deteriorated, causing her to speak in short broken sentences and sign language. Neve wears a blindfold over her damaged eyes to shade them from the incredibly bright sunlight reflected by the massive amounts of snow that blankets the planet, but even then she can use her other senses to paint a picture in her mind's eye and see silhouettes, allowing her navigate just fine but also have heightened senses able to hear things from a few blocks away and hear the most subtle shifts in someone's body, and feel changes in temperature and air pressure and heartbeats. She has no combat capabilities, but is much stronger, faster, and tougher than even the finest Olympic-level athlete.

Innocent is a word to describe Neve succinctly. Naive works too, but it is to be expected given the circumstances of her life, being activated and having lived through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Neve is programmed to be an entertainer, so it's in her directive to bring joy and entice people's emotions through her singing and dancing. But with her poorly maintained android body, she has trouble doing so which is a sore point for Neve and makes her feel depressed. Even as an android, she learns emotions and grew self-awareness and a conscience, not wanting to harm another living thing and can act immature later on once she had a taste of a regular life in society, where she got spoiled rotten by her friends. She adapts to human society just fine with their help, eventually finding a new purpose by becoming a singer.
